Growing up in Mallorca, Marta was involved in sailing from a young age in both dinghies and family yachts.
She has cruised and raced extensively in the Mediterranean, gaining a knowledge of a large area and accumulating invaluable experience whilst interacting with guests, owners and crew. After studying tourism and obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration from the Balearic Hotel School, Marta gained experience in marketing with Barcelo Hotels and Resorts before spending nine years as a professional chef on board private and charter yachts around the world.
Marta joined Ocean Independence as a charter manager and uses her wealth of hands on experience combined with local Balearic knowledge to provide top-level service to owners and captains alike.
