Italian-born Marco enjoyed sailing from a young age and soon combined his passion with profession, becoming a yacht Captain whilst in the Caribbean.
Working on both large motor and sailing yachts for over 20 years, he developed exceptional maritime knowledge. Crossing the Atlantic seven times and cruising the exotic climes of Sri Lanka and the Maldives, he has obtained extensive operational experience and in turn mastered three languages – English, French and Spanish.
Moving ashore, Marco founded his own highly successful brokerage company, completing many yacht sales in the 40-80m range together with being closely involved in supervising a host of construction projects. More recently, as a senior yacht broker with Ocean Independence, Marco has conducted business in a wide variety of countries and cultures, further adding to his impressive track record with sales of extraordinary 60-80m+ motor yachts. Highly valued and equally trusted by his clients, Marco is a respected member of the luxury yachting community.
