Growing up as the son of a German diplomat, Adrian gained significant exposure to an international lifestyle.
Spending three years in Cyprus as a young boy, he discovered his passion for boats and sailing, which remains to this day. After completing his BSc in Industrial Engineering at Northwestern University, Chicago and his MSc in Management Technology and Economics at ETH Zurich, Adrian decided to make his passion his profession. During a six-month internship in the field of project management and sales at Italy’s storied Baglietto shipyard, Adrian gained insight into the production and sale of luxury yachts. He then joined Ocean Independence in January 2020.
Since joining Ocean Independence, Adrian has personally sold or been involved in several deals, ranging in size from 20-50 meters. Most recently he sold SUNNY HILL, a 36m sailing yacht. Having found his stride, he is looking to make 2023 his best year yet.
Adrian is a specialist in data analytics and brings a data-driven approach to the yacht brokerage industry. His unique perspective and international upbringing are valuable assets to Ocean Independence’s global operation.
