Always enthusiastic and meticulous, Lukas has a real passion for life at sea, having sailed from a young age on Optimist dinghies.
On completion of German Naval National Service and a degree in yacht manufacturing and surveying, Lukas used his excellent engineering knowledge, plus a focus on project management and yacht surveying, to forge a yachting career. As technical refit adviser at a major repair yard, he was responsible for supervision and restoration, coordinating and overseeing work/maintenance together with on-site finances to ensure smooth day to day operations. During time in the UK he gained his Yachtmaster Ocean Certificate to become a fully-rounded skipper, leading to his travels on superyachts in the North Sea, Mediterranean and North Atlantic.
Moving ashore, Lukas has used his valuable maritime acumen to deliver outstanding management and efficient brokerage services to his clients. From his experience as managing partner of an established yachting company, his depth of sales and purchase knowledge combined with advice-driven approach have become a highly respected asset. With extensive insight into legal, financial and administrative matters related to pre-owned as well as new construction opportunities, he performs to the highest possible standards.
