The Central Board Of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2023-2024: CBSE has released the revised syllabus for the Class 12 All Subjects board exam. CBSE is an autonomous, self-governing body established under the Department of Education (D.O.Ed). CBSE Revised Syllabus 2023-2024 for Class 12 All Subjects board exam covers all subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. 

CBSE has evaluated the current curriculum concerning global benchmarks in higher education and found that it does not meet international standards in many fields like engineering or medicine where research projects are a major component of learning outcomes assessment. 

To address this issue CBSE will offer additional courses to prepare students for their careers beyond school which can help them get better jobs after Class 12.

CBSE Revised Syllabus of All Subjects Examination 2023-2024 Class 12 are as Follows:

  1. CBSE has introduced a new topic in the revised syllabus of maths examination 2021-2022 Class 12 which is ‘Data Handling’. This will include data representation, collection, analysis and interpretation of data. CBSE has also increased the weightage of questions from Class 11 topics in the Board Exam by reducing the weightage of Class 12 topics.

  2. CBSE Revised syllabus for physics examination 2021-2022 Class 12 are as follows: CBSE has introduced two new elective subjects in physics i.e., Electronics and Communication (EC) and Computer Science (CS). These elective subjects will be offered at the senior secondary level from session 2021-22 onwards. CBSE has also introduced practical exams in place of the theory exam. CBSE has increased the weightage of Class 12 topics in CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 class 12.

  3. CBSE Revised syllabus for chemistry examination 2021-2022 Class 12 are as follows: CBSE revised subject will consist of four compulsory papers, each carrying 100 marks and its duration is 90 minutes. CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Physical Chemistry) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question papers which carry 200 marks with three hours’ duration.

  4. Revised CBSE syllabus for biology examination 2021-2022 Class 12 are as follows: CBSE has introduced an additional topic under ecology named ‘Ecological Interrelationships’ which highlights the importance of an ecosystem. CBSE has also revised the old syllabus of biotechnology to ‘Microbes and Bioremediation’ which includes genetic engineering, recombinant DNA technology, synthetic biology etc. CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 Class 12 will consist of four compulsory papers each carrying 100 marks with 90 minutes duration for every paper.

  5. CBSE Revised Syllabus for English examination 2021-2022 for Class 12 are as follows: CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 Class 12 will consist of four compulsory papers each carrying 100 marks with 90 minutes duration for every paper. CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Prose) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question papers which carry 200 marks with three hours’ duration. CBSE Revised syllabus of Hindi examination 2021-2022 for Class 12 are as follows: CBSE board exam 2021-2022 Class 12 consists of two sections namely prose and poetry having weightage 150 each carrying 100 marks in total with the duration of three hours per subject respectively.

CBSE Revised Syllabus for Accountancy examination 2021-2022 for Class 12 are as follows: CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 Class 12 will consist of four compulsory papers each carrying 100 marks with 90 minutes duration for every paper CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Financial Reporting and Analysis) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question paper which carries 200 marks with three hours’ duration.

  7. CBSE Revised syllabus of Business Studies examination 2021-2022 Class 12 are as follows: CBSE board exam 2021-2022 Class 12 consists of two sections namely business environment and practices(BEP) & management accounting having weightage 150 each carrying 100 marks in total with the duration of three hours per subject respectively.

  8. CBSE Syllabus For Physical Education Examination 2022 Class XII are as follows: CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 Class 12 will consist of four compulsory papers each carrying 100 marks with 90 minutes duration for every paper. CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Physical Education) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question papers which carry 200 marks with three hours’ duration.

  9. CBSE Revised Syllabus For Economics Examination 2022 Class XII are as follows: CBSE board exam 2021-2022 Class 12 consists of two sections namely microeconomics and macroeconomics having weightage 150 each carrying 100 marks in total with the duration of three hours per subject respectively. CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Micro Economics) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question papers which carry 200 marks with three hours’ duration.

  10. CBSE Revised Syllabus For Political Science Examination 2022 Class XII are as follows: CBSE Board Exam 2021-2022 Class 12 will consist of four compulsory papers each carrying 100 marks with 90 minutes duration for every paper. CBSE has reduced 50 marks from section A (Political Science) by reducing experimental questions so that students have sufficient time to solve theoretical question papers which carry 200 marks with three hours’ duration. CBSE has also revised the old syllabus of biotechnology to ‘Microbes and Bioremediation’ which includes genetic engineering, recombinant DNA technology, synthetic biology etc.

CBSE board exam 2021-2022 class 12 consists of two sections namely life sciences and non –life sciences having weightage 150 each carrying 100 marks in total with the duration of three hours per subject respectively.
